What would a Dental Practice in La Conner WA Be like? Well, good question, but first, where is La Conner WA? It is a small quaint tourist and boat building and waterfront community about 70 miles north of Seattle WA. Population 850, opinions 947. La Conner is located in Skagit County in the state of Washington, and it is in the heart of the great agricultural Skagit County. Much of the barley used to feed the horses during WW1 in Europe were grown in the Skagit Valley. It enjoys a channel front where the stores on the channel are partially over water, and the other side of the road has store fronts against a cliff, so the commercial part of the town is rally one street. It is old time and has false fronted buildings. The local seafood is great, and almost everyone has a boat and either fishes, crabs, or shrimps for the great seafood available here. Local oysters abound as well as clams. La Conner is only an hour and a half north of the metropolis of Seattle and all of its amenities, including the University of Washington, and some of the world's greatest medical facilities. Local organic food is plentiful including organic livestock of all kinds. La Conner and the adjacent city of Anacortes are both retirement communities, having many upscale residential communities. So what do we have here? A beautiful tourist downtown, complete with a shipbuilding industry, and salmon and crab fisheries. A healthy bounty of organic vegetables and foods. An educated and well to do populace, and a close proximity to the Seattle metropolis and its Collegiate atmosphere to the south . Bellingham with its University and shipping and Alaska Ferry System to the north, only 45 minutes away, and two oil refineries located between Anacortes and La Conner. Can you think of a better place to start a dental practice? Thriving communities, good food, good seafood, great water sport and recreation, and well healed patients.
