What Steps are Available to me to optimize my Local Business Website? The science of local Website Business optimization is well known. The tools are well known and they work very well. That being said, the learning curve is very steep, and the question that you need to ask yourself, is can I make more money doing what ai am trained to do, or by trying to learn the methods of optimizing my local business website? The short and long answer to that question is yes, you need to keep doing what your already know what to do and turn your internet advertising over to the professionals. Quite frankly, it could take years of study before you were truly capable of optimizing your own website, and that is not your gig. There are, however some initial things for you to consider. What are your specialties, where is your community, and what is the general completive level of my practice? For instance, if you are a general dentist in Bellingham Washington, would your name and dentist Bellingham WA be a good website title? I will give you a couple of tools to play with before you hire your Local Business Marketing, or Local Business Video Marketing consultant. First go to a browser and get a Google search page. Type in the words, "Bellingham WA Dentist", without the quotes. You will receive 108,000 pages, all of which are competing for one or more of the words in your search. Now type in the same search term with quotes before and after the term. Press return and you will receive, 44,800 competitor pages which have been optimized for the same words, but not necessarily in the same order. This level of competition is too strong, and it would cost you too much money to pay for the level of promotion required to bring that term, Bellingham WA dentist, to page one on Google. You need to know this before you hire someone to promote that to page one of Google. Knowing that the keywords Bellingham WA Dentist were too competitive, try something else, but first just drop off the stat, WA, and see what happens. Now without the quotes, there is an incredible 1,700,000 pages containing some of the words but when you enclose the term in quotes you get only25,200 competitive pages optimized for that same term. This is near the high end of 30,000 that you should not compete against. Investigate the competitive level of all of your services using this technique, and then talk to your local business video marketing consultant.
